Day 1 Arrive Auckland
On arrival you’ll be met and transferred to your hotel. Rest of day at leisure. Accommodation: Auckland, Copthorne Anzac Avenue (Standard), SkyCity Hotel (First Class), Heritage Hotel (Deluxe).

Day 2 Auckland / Waitomo / Rotorua
Travel to Rotorua. Stop at the Waitomo Caves for lunch and tour the Glow Worm Grotto. Tonight enjoy a Maori Hangi (feast) and concert. Accommodation: Rotorua, Kingsgate Hotel (Standard), Park Heritage Rotorua (First Class), Millennium Hotel (Deluxe) for two nights. (L,D)

Day 3 Rotorua Sightseeing
Experience the varied sights Rotorua has to offer. Visit Rainbow Springs, the New Zealand Farm Show, Te Puia Thermal Reserve and the Maori Arts & Crafts Institute, then enjoy an afternoon at leisure.

Day 4 Rotorua / Queenstown
Fly to Queenstown, where you will be transferred to your hotel
(airfare not included). Rest of day at leisure. Accommodation: Queenstown, Kingsgate Hotel Terraces (Standard), Copthorne Lakefront (First Class), Heritage Hotel (Deluxe) for three nights.

Day 5 Milford Sound Day Excursion
Travel along the shores of Lake Wakatipu to Te Anau, gateway to the Fiordland National Park. Join your Milford Sound Red Boat cruise to explore this majestic fiord. Return to Queenstown.

Day 6 Queenstown
Day at leisure.

Day 7 Queenstown / Mt Cook / Christchurch
Depart Queenstown for Mt Cook National Park. We suggest a scenic flight over some of New Zealand’s finest alpine scenery (optional, own expense). Then travel through the MacKenzie Country via Lake Tekapo where you can view the solitary Church of the Good Shepherd before reaching the Canterbury Plains and on to Christchurch, arriving approximately 7:30pm.
