Day 1 Arrive Auckland
On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Accommodation: Auckland, Crowne Plaza Hotel for two nights.

Day 2 Auckland, Personalized Touring
This morning is at leisure in Auckland. This afternoon you choose the activity and we will include it! Choose from an Auckland city highlights tour, an elevator trip to the top of Auckland’s Sky Tower, a visit to Auckland’s Maritime Museum or perhaps visit Auckland Museum, the choice is yours. (B,D)

Day 3 Auckland / Waitomo / Rotorua
Journey to the crest of Mt Eden, an extinct volcano, to enjoy stunning city and harbor views. Head south through Waikato Province. Enjoy a guided tour of the Glow Worm Grotto at Waitomo Caves, then on to the geothermal region of Rotorua. Tonight you’ll experience a Hangi (feast) and Maori cultural performance. Accommodation: Rotorua, Millennium Rotorua for two nights. (B,Sp,D)

Day 4 Rotorua Personalized Touring
Today you choose the activity and we’ll include it...perhaps a soak in a thermal mineral pool, a 4WD excursion or a sheep show and shearing display. Country Homestay option available tonight. (B,D)

Day 5 Rotorua / Wellington
Visit Wairakei Steam Valley, a fascinating geothermal power project. See spectacular Huka Falls and picturesque Lake Taupo then cross the volcanic plateau of Tongariro National Park. Continue to Wellington. Accommodation: Wellington, Hotel InterContinental. (B,D)

Day 6 Wellington / Nelson
Cruise across Cook Strait to the South Island. Sail through scenic Wellington Harbour, into the breathtaking natural beauty of the Marlborough Sounds. See stunning scenery in Queen Charlotte Sound before arriving in the seaside port of Picton. Journey through the orchard and vineyard region of Marlborough to Nelson. Rest of day at leisure. Accommodation: Nelson, The Rutherford Hotel. (B,D)

Day 7 Nelson / Franz Josef
Follow the Heritage Highway to the rugged West Coast. View the “Pancake” rock formations and blowholes at Punakaiki. Continue to World Heritage-listed Westland National Park to see the magnificent glaciers. There may be the opportunity to enjoy a scenic flight over this breathtaking region (own expense, weather permitting). Accommodation: Franz Josef, Franz Josef Glacier Hotel. (B,D)

Day 8 Franz Josef / Wanaka
Travel through Haast Pass over the Southern Alps along the shores of Lakes Hawea and Wanaka. Continue to Wanaka township and enjoy an overnight stay in this place of peace and tranquility. Accommodation: Wanaka, Edgewater Resort. (B,D)

Day 9 Wanaka / Queenstown
Travel to Arrowtown, an old gold rush settlement. Visit the Lakes District museum and head to Queenstown. Accommodation: Queenstown, Novotel Gardens Hotel for two nights. (B,D)

Day 10 Queenstown Personalized Touring
You choose the activity and we’ll include it. Take a double decker bus tour, a wineries tour, a jetboat ride or a garden tour. Tonight enjoy our Dine Around Dinner™. Take a gondola to the Skyline Restaurant or cruise on the TSS Earnslaw to Walter Peak Sheep Station. Or dine at a local restaurant. The choice is yours! (B,D)

Day 11 Queenstown / Milford Sound / Te Anau
Travel through Fiordland National Park where lush rainforests meet snow-capped mountains. Cruise Milford Sound below Mitre Peak and spectacular waterfalls. Return to Te Anau. Accommodation: Te Anau, Te Anau Hotel & Villas. (B,D) 

Day 12 Te Anau / Dunedin Personalized Touring
Journey via Lake Manapouri to New Zealand’s southernmost coast en route to Dunedin. Today you choose the activity and we’ll include it. Visit the Speights Brewery and Heritage Center, the Otago Peninsula to see the Royal Albatross Colony, Penguin Place to view yellow-eyed penguins or Larnach Castle–the choice is yours! Accommodation: Dunedin, Southern Cross Hotel. (B,D)  

Day 13 Dunedin / Mt Cook
Travel north to view the Moeraki Beach boulders. Stop at Oamaru en route to Mt Cook National Park. Take a scenic flight over this region (weather permitting, own expense) and land on the mighty Tasman Glacier. Accommodation: Mt Cook, The Hermitage. (B,D)

Day 14 Mt Cook / Christchurch
Visit beautiful glacier-fed Lake Tekapo and view the Church of the Good Shepherd. Travel through Burkes Pass to the Canterbury Plains. Continue via the Rakaia Gorge to Christchurch. Accommodation: Christchurch, Crowne Plaza Hotel. (B,D)

Day 15 Depart Christchurch
At leisure. Transfer to the airport for your onward flight. (B)
