Day 1 Arrive Auckland
On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

Day 2 Auckland, Personalized
Touring
This morning is at leisure in Auckland. This afternoon you
choose the activity and we will include it! Choose from an
Auckland city highlights tour, an elevator trip to the top
of Auckland’s Sky Tower, a visit to Auckland’s
Maritime Museum or perhaps visit Auckland Museum, the choice

Day 3 Auckland / Waitomo / Rotorua
Journey to the crest of Mt Eden, an extinct volcano, to enjoy
stunning city and harbor views. Head south through Waikato
Province. Enjoy a guided tour of the Glow Worm Grotto at Waitomo
Caves, then on to the geothermal region of Rotorua. Tonight
you’ll experience a Hangi (feast) and Maori cultural
performance. Accommodation: Rotorua,

Day 4 Rotorua Personalized Touring
Today you choose the activity and we’ll include it...perhaps
a soak in a thermal mineral pool, a 4WD excursion or a sheep

Day 5 Rotorua / Wellington
Visit Wairakei Steam Valley, a fascinating geothermal power
project. See spectacular Huka Falls and picturesque Lake Taupo
then cross the volcanic plateau of Tongariro National Park.

Day 6 Wellington / Nelson
Cruise across Cook Strait to the South Island. Sail through
scenic Wellington Harbour, into the breathtaking natural beauty
of the Marlborough Sounds. See stunning scenery in Queen Charlotte
Sound before arriving in the seaside port of Picton. Journey
through the orchard and vineyard region of Marlborough to
Nelson. Rest of day at leisure. Accommodation:

Day 7 Nelson / Franz Josef
Follow the Heritage Highway to the rugged West Coast. View
the “Pancake” rock formations and blowholes at
Punakaiki. Continue to World Heritage-listed Westland National
Park to see the magnificent glaciers. There may be the opportunity
to enjoy a scenic flight over this breathtaking region (own
expense, weather permitting). Accommodation:

Day 8 Franz Josef / Wanaka
Travel through Haast Pass over the Southern Alps along the
shores of Lakes Hawea and Wanaka. Continue to Wanaka township
and enjoy an overnight stay in this place of peace and tranquility.

Day 9 Wanaka / Queenstown
Travel to Arrowtown, an old gold rush settlement. Visit the
Lakes District museum and head to Queenstown. Accommodation:

You choose the activity and we’ll include it. Take a
double decker bus tour, a wineries tour, a jetboat ride or

TSS Earnslaw to Walter Peak Sheep Station. Or dine at a local

Day 11 Queenstown / Milford
Sound / Te Anau
Travel through Fiordland National Park where lush rainforests
meet snow-capped mountains. Cruise Milford Sound below Mitre
Peak and spectacular waterfalls. Return to Te Anau. Accommodation:

Day 12 Te Anau / Dunedin Personalized
Touring
Journey via Lake Manapouri to New Zealand’s southernmost
coast en route to Dunedin. Today you choose the activity and

Center, the Otago Peninsula to see the Royal Albatross Colony,
Penguin Place to view yellow-eyed penguins or Larnach Castle–the

Day 13 Dunedin / Mt Cook
Travel north to view the Moeraki Beach boulders. Stop at Oamaru
en route to Mt Cook National Park. Take a scenic flight over
this region (weather permitting, own expense) and land on
the mighty Tasman Glacier. Accommodation:

Day 14 Mt Cook / Christchurch
Visit beautiful glacier-fed Lake Tekapo and view the Church
of the Good Shepherd. Travel through Burkes Pass to the Canterbury
