Day 1 Arrive Christchurch
On arrival you’ll be met and transferred to your hotel. Perhaps take a punt on the Avon River. Accommodation: Christchurch, The Elms Hotel (Standard), Copthorne Central Hotel (First Class), Millennium Hotel (Deluxe).

Day 2 Christchurch / Mt Cook / Dunedin
Travel to Aoraki/Mt Cook, then continue through the Canterbury Plains to Dunedin. Accommodation: Dunedin, Kingsgate Hotel Dunedin (Standard), Scenic Circle Dunedin City Hotel (First Class), Southern Cross Hotel (Deluxe) for two nights.

Day 3 Dunedin
Board the double decker bus for a 11/2 hour tour of Dunedin’s historic sights. This afternoon you’ll be taken on a tour of the Otago Peninsula including the renowned Royal Albatross Colony (seasonal).

Day 4 Dunedin / Queenstown
Enjoy rugged unspoiled landscape aboard the Taieri Gorge Train to Pukerangi where you’ll board your coach to continue your journey to Queenstown, adventure capital of New Zealand. Accommodation: Queenstown, Kingsgate Hotel Terraces (Standard), Copthorne Lakefront (First Class), Heritage Hotel (Deluxe) for three nights.

Day 5 Milford Sound Day Excursion
Travel along the shores of Lake Wakatipu to Te Anau, gateway to the Fiordland National Park. Join your Milford Sound Red Boat cruise to explore the wonder of this majestic fiord. Return to Queenstown.

Day 6 Queenstown
Today is at leisure.

Day 7 Queenstown / Franz Josef Glacier
Enjoy the West Coast scenery through the Haast Pass and continue on to Franz Josef Glacier. We suggest a scenic glacier flight (own expense). Accommodation: Franz Josef, Franz Josef Glacier Hotel (Standard, First Class and Deluxe).

Day 8 Franz Josef / Christchurch
Travel to Greymouth and board the scenic TranzAlpine for a journey famous for its spectacular mountain scenery. Travel across the Canterbury Plains to Christchurch arriving at approximately 6:40 pm.
