Nadi township is a 10 minute car ride from Nadi International Airport. It is the focal point of the many hotels and resorts within the region. Nearby is Denarau Island with it's luxurious resorts, championship golf course and marina - a gateway to cruises and boating activities. Nadi is a convenient location from which to explore Viti Levu and the nearby Mamanuca and Yasawa Islands. Whilst Suva is the capital city of Fiji, Nadi is were the International airport is located and the hub of tourism in Fiji.

The town features great shopping, banks, some restaurant options and is worth a walk through if you have the time. Fiji is essentially a resort destination.

However whilst staying on Viti Levu you should do some of the optional day tours. On the outer islands there are limited options available so do the jet boating, sunset cruise, hiking trail or village tour you want to do while on the main island.

There is one major road that follows the coast around the island. The center of the island is a peak covered in rainforest and beautiful waterfalls. Look at the sidebar touring options in this section of the brochure to see the choices available to you. If staying on one of the outer islands you may want to consider a day or two at the start or finish of your vacation to see this great area of Fiji.
