First Landing is a quiet, relaxing resort set amidst 6 acres
of tropical landscaped gardens with massive raintrees and
towering coconut palms fringing a white sandy beach. It is
located at historic Vuda point where the Fijians first landed,
with spectacular views across to the islands, particularly
at sunset. The air-conditioned bures are constructed from
local timber and feature high ceilings, polished hardwood
floors, king size beds, designer furnishings, bar fridge,
tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryers, ceiling fans,
and a private screened-in verandah. There is a large freshwater
swimming pool and one of Fiji’s premier restaurants.
Watersports, golf and tennis can be arranged. Activities offered
from the resort include snorkeling, diving, aromatherapy massage,
cultural activities and Tour Desk. This new and secluded resort
adjoins Vuda Point Yacht Marina and houses Nalamu Art Gallery
and Pottery School. Guests can relax by the new swimming pool,
stroll along the beach or explore the reef.
