A fleet of XPTs and Xplorers carry passengers in air-conditioned comfort to their destinations in economy and first class seats, with sleeper facilities available on overnight routes. The XPT operates between Sydney and Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, Sydney and Casino, and Sydney and Dubbo. The Xplorer operates between Sydney and Canberra, Sydney and Tamworth and Sydney and Broken Hill.

Day 1 Arrive Sydney
Arrive Sydney and transfer to your hotel, rest of the day is at leisure. Accommodation: Sydney, The Grace Hotel for two nights.

Day 2 Sydney Half Day Discovery
First we head into the historic Rocks area as your guide highlights areas of interest with information and stories of old. Later visit Mrs. Macquarie’s Chair, the northern beaches and eastern suburbs. (B)

Day 3 Sydney – Canberra on Xplorer
Transfer to the train station and depart Sydney at 7:05am, arriving into Canberra at 11:23am. The remainder of the day is at leisure. Accommodation: Canberra, Crowne Plaza Canberra (B)

Day 4 Canberra – Sydney on Xplorer
The morning is at leisure in Canberra before making your way back to the train station (own expense) for your return trip to Sydney. Depart Canberra at 12:05pm, arriving Sydney at 4:24pm (B)
