Day 1 Sydney
On arrival you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore Sydney. Accommodation: Observatory Hotel (Deluxe) for three nights.

Day 2 Sydney at Leisure
Experience Sydney at your leisure today. Tonight you may wish to dine at the Opera House. (B)

Day 3 Sydney Half-Day Discovery Tour
From your hotel we head into the historic Rocks area— one of the most-visited parts of Sydney. Nestled at the foot of the Harbour Bridge, The Rocks is Sydney and Australia’s foundation place—and one of enormous historical significance. We head toward Mrs Macquarie’s Chair, where the views are absolutely superb. Continuing along the shores of Sydney harbor, we take you through the Eastern suburbs. We will return to the city at 12:00 noon where your tour ends. The remainder of the day is at leisure. (B)  

Day 4 Blue Mountains – Lilianfels
A special treat is in store today as you’re met at The Observatory Hotel and transferred by private car to the Blue Mountains. Pass some spectacular sites along the way including the Three Sisters and the spectacular Blue Mountains. Be welcomed on arrival with a gift and settle into your Deluxe King Room. Accommodation: Lilianfels Blue Mountains Resort & Spa (Deluxe) for two nights. (B)

Day 5 Blue Mountains at Leisure
Today is at leisure to enjoy the mountains in these luxurious surroundings. Enjoy a bush walk or simply relax by the fire in the lounge and read the paper. An exclusive day spa will rejuvenate and restore your soul (own expense). (B) 

Day 6 Blue Mountains – Sydney
After a full breakfast, you may feel like a stroll around
Katoomba’s quaint village before your transfer to the city. Accommodation: Observatory Hotel (Deluxe). (B)

Day 7 Sydney – Melbourne & Penguin Tour
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Melbourne (flight, own expense). On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Your tour today takes you southeast of the city through the rich Gippsland coastal region and on to the rugged southern coast. Visit a boutique winery on the way. Then it’s on to Phillip Island, known as the “Wildlife Island.” Walk among the treetops at the Koala Conservation Center to see a protected koala colony and have the chance to see wallabies and a range of birdlife. Penguins come ashore each evening at dusk from their ocean feeding grounds. The large penguin colony enters the beach in groups and “walk and talk” loudly as they work their way into the dunes where their burrow nests are situated. Enjoy a fish and chip dinner in Cowes and return to Melbourne late evening. Accommodation: Crown Towers (Deluxe) for two nights. (B,D)

Day 8 Yarra Valley Wineries
You will begin your Yarra Valley Food & Wine Journey with cheese and wine tasting at the 100-year old Yarra Valley Dairy. Visit the historic Yering Station Winery for wine tasting and the Yering Station Produce Store and Art Gallery showcasing regional produce. Visit Domaine Chandon Australia for lunch followed by a tour of the winery. Visit the famous Coldstream Hills Winery and conclude the afternoon with a cellar door tasting at the rustic Yering Farm Winery. (L)

Day 9 Depart Melbourne 
Free time this morning for a leisurely breakfast before your onward flight.
