Day 1 Uluru (Ayers Rock), Kata Tjuta (the Olgas)
You will be met on arrival at Ayers Rock Airport and transferred to your hotel (flights to arrive prior to 1:00 pm). Enter Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park and travel to the giant domes of Kata Tjuta (the Olgas). See native fauna and flora unique to this rocky formation. Walk into the majestic Walpa (Olga) Gorge. Continue on to sunset strip and enjoy a complimentary glass of wine while viewing the changing colors of Ayers Rock at sunset. Accommodation: Ayers Rock Resort, Outback Pioneer Hotel (Standard), Desert Gardens (First Class), Sails in the Desert (Deluxe).

Day 2 Ayers Rock – Kings Canyon
Wake to see Uluru at sunrise and watch as the rock transforms into a myriad of colors while enjoying a cup of tea or coffee. Take a guided walk to Mutitjulu waterhole to see cave paintings and hear the legends of Kuniya Tjukurpa (Python Dreaming). Tour the base of Uluru and learn about this region’s geology and flora on the Mala Walk. Explore Kantju Gorge before visiting the Cultural Center and Maruku Arts & Craft Cooperative where you may see Aboriginal artists at work. Or, you can forego the Mutitjulu and Mala walks to climb Uluru and stand 1141 feet above the desert floor. Travel to Kings Canyon. Note: Anangu, Traditional Owners, prefer that visitors not climb Uluru. The climb may be closed without notice due to weather or cultural reasons. No refunds will be given in this situation. Accommodation: Kings Canyon Resort, Rangeview Rooms (Standard and First Class), Spa Rooms (Deluxe).

Day 3 Kings Canyon – Alice Springs
This morning walk to the rim of Kings Canyon via the remarkable formations of the lush “Garden of Eden” (requires a good degree of fitness). Enjoy stunning views of the sheer canyon walls and the amazing contrast of the red rock against the blue sky. An alternative stroll through the shaded canyon floor is available. This afternoon travel via Kings Creek Station to Alice Springs, arriving 6:30pm.
