Day 1 Ayers Rock
On arrival you’ll be met and transferred to your hotel (arrive by air prior to 1:00pm). Enter Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park to view the Olgas and the native fauna and flora that is unique to this region. Walk into the majestic Olga Gorge. Continue to sunset strip and enjoy a complimentary glass of wine and the changing colors of Ayers Rock at sunset. Accommodation: Ayers Rock Resort, Outback Pioneer (Standard), Desert Gardens Hotel (First Class), Sails in the Desert (Deluxe).

Day 2 Ayers Rock – Alice Springs
Relax over a cup of tea or coffee as the day’s first light strikes Uluru. Take a guided walk to Mutitjulu waterhole to see cave paintings and hear the legends of Kuniya Tjukurpa (Python Dreaming). Walk along the base of Uluru and learn about the geology and flora of the region on the Mala Walk. Explore Kantju Gorge and see Tapudji (Little Ayers Rock). Stop in the Cultural Center and Maruku Arts and Craft Cooperative where you may see Aboriginal artists at work. Or, you can forego the Mutitjulu and Mala walks to climb Uluru and stand 1141 feet above the desert floor. Depart Ayers Rock and view Atila (Mt Conner) before arriving in Alice Springs at 6:30pm.

Note: Anangu, Traditional Owners, prefer that visitors not climb Uluru. The climb may be closed without notice due to weather or cultural reasons. No refunds will be given in this situation.
