Day 1 Darwin – Kakadu National Park
Your tour departs Darwin and heads into the World-Heritage listed Kakadu National Park where you will see ancient rock art and remnants of Aboriginal existence at Ubirr. You will enjoy lunch followed by a cruise on the East Alligator River; and with permission we may be able to enter Arnhem Land for a short walk. Accommodation: Kakadu National Park, Aurora Kakadu Resort (Standard), Gagudju Crocodile Holiday Inn (First Class) for two nights. (L)

Day 2 4WD Arnhem Land Tour
See the amazing landscapes of Arnhem Land on our way to Mikinj Valley. The area is largely untouched and only accessible by 4WD vehicle. Here you will learn of traditional bush skills including food and medicines, as well as the Aboriginal ownership of the land. (L)

Day 3 Kakadu National Park – Katherine
Travel to Nourlangie art sites and view the ancient galleries of artwork. The unique x-ray style works record the traditional cultures, changes and evolution of the land and people over the last 40,000 years. Continue to the Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Center before joining a cruise on Yellow Water Billabong. After lunch travel to Pine Creek and on to Katherine. Accommodation: Katherine, Knotts Crossing Resort, Village Rooms (Standard), Motel Rooms (First Class). (L)

Day 4 Katherine – Darwin
This morning enter Nitmiluk National Park where you will enjoy a cruise on the stunning Katherine River. After your cruise you will have the opportunity to inspect the Nitmiluk Visitors Center before continuing on to Edith Falls and returning to Darwin.
