Depart your hotel and start out around the historic Constitution Dock area, Salamanca Place and Battery Point en route to the dry eucalypt forest areas. Travel along the shores of the Huon River through rural farming and grazing land. You’ll climb into the range, pausing at Geeveston Forest and the Heritage Center. Pass through the dry forest areas and arrive at the spectacular Tahune Forest Airwalk for a walk high above and through the treetops. Your guide provides an interpretive walk before a barbeque lunch. This afternoon, return to Hobart through Ranelagh and around the base of Mount Wellington. The tour’s duration is 8 hours and departs daily at 8:30am.
