Day 1 Arrive Hobart
Following arrival, transfer from the airport to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. Accommodation: Hobart, Dohertys Hadleys Hotel (Standard) Lenna of Hobart (First Class), Hotel Grand Chancellor (Deluxe) for two nights.

Day 2 Hobart – Port Arthur Small Group Guided Tour
A visit to Tasmania is not complete without seeing Port Arthur. This historic site is a compelling and dramatic reminder of Australia’s convict past and the early settlement of the colony of Van Dieman's Land, now Tasmania. Your day starts with a brief tour of Hobart. Then you’ll head out to Richmond, a village of slate and cobblestone, cottages and manors. You’ll wander streets lined with sandstone buildings showcasing the best of Tasmania’s fine arts and crafts. You will wonder at the natural attractions on the way to Port Arthur, such as Devils Kitchen. Port Arthur was created with convict labor, and the impressive architecture, delightful gardens and chilling prison facilities survive today for you to explore with your guide. A cruise will finish off your day. Morning tea and a light lunch are included. You will be back in the hotel at 5:30pm. (L)

At leisure until you transfer to Hobart Airport.
